<motivation>Solar wind hydrogen was located and measured in space weathered apatite and merrillite grains from lunar soil 79221 using scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM) techniques. Analyses include electron energy loss spectroscopy (EELS) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), collected as spectrum image cubes.
